Operation Acorn Buyout

Game-Squirrel Joins the Magnificent 8 Spy Alliance

Burrow HQ was quiet for exactly nine seconds.

That was a record.

Mark ZuckerHamster sat at the main conference stump, polishing his aviator shades. Elon Mouse was upside down in a hammock-pod, sketching a rocket-powered espresso machine on a napkin. Panda Wise, wearing his usual eye patch, calmly peeled a piece of bamboo like he had already seen the future and found it mildly amusing.

Then the front blast door flew open.

A reddish-brown squirrel in a red-and-black gamer hoodie burst into the room, dragging a gold-trimmed briefcase behind him.

“I want to buy your spy agency!” he shouted.

Mark slowly lowered his sunglasses.

Elon flipped out of the hammock and landed on one paw.

Panda Wise blinked once.

“That,” Mark said, “is a bold opening.”

The squirrel puffed out his chest.

“My name is Game-Squirrel,” he said. “Founder energy. Contrarian instincts. Cost discipline. Acorn-based liquidity.”

Elon’s ears twitched.

“Do we get rockets?”

Game-Squirrel snapped the briefcase open. Inside were contracts, tiny gadgets, encrypted acorns, and one emergency snack pack labeled Due Diligence.

“Better,” Game-Squirrel said. “You get a merger.”

Panda Wise leaned forward.

“What is the mission?”

Game-Squirrel clicked a button. A glowing hologram appeared above the table.

On the left: Magnificent 8 Spy Agency.

In the middle: New Agency.

On the right: a red bear logo wearing a hat.

The words blinked in warning red:

RED BEAR BUREAU: SHUT DOWN

Mark’s whiskers stiffened.

“The Red Bear Bureau?” he squeaked.

Elon grabbed his flight jacket.

“Now it’s personal.”

Panda Wise sighed.

“It was personal before you knew what it was.”

Game-Squirrel pointed at the hologram.

“The Red Bear Bureau has been mean-spying across the animal internet. They jammed Beast Mode Audio, scrambled the zoo translator collars, and tried to replace every password with ‘bears123.’”

From the far side of the room, Jessica looked up from her laptop.

“Uh, team?”

Everyone turned.

Her screen flashed red.

“They’re already in our systems.”

A monitor crackled to life. Three grumpy cartoon bear spies stared back from a snowy bunker.

“Greetings, little woodland executives,” growled the lead bear. “Your spy agency is finished.”

Bruce, the security chief, stepped forward in his blue uniform and mirrored shades.

“Security team, move!”

Ronny and Oscar slid under the console with toolkits. Jane began tracing stress lines across the server map. Part-Rabbit Durov zipped in on a hoverboard, already streaming the crisis to a private channel called Definitely Not Public.

Mark adjusted his golden “M” medallion.

“Game-Squirrel, your buyout just became an operation.”

Game-Squirrel grinned.

“Good. I brought an EMP acorn.”

Elon froze.

“You brought an electromagnetic acorn and didn’t tell me?”

“I was saving it for negotiations.”

Panda Wise raised one paw.

“Less talking. More saving the burrow.”

The room exploded into motion.

Jessica attacked the Red Bear code with a counter-algorithm. Ronny and Oscar launched signal boosters. Elon released a tiny drone that zipped around the ceiling shouting, “Beep beep, capitalism!” Mark activated his special Acorn-Scope shades, scanning every hidden backdoor in the system.

Panda Wise calmly jammed the enemy frequency while eating bamboo.

Game-Squirrel wound up and threw the EMP acorn.

“Team up!”

The acorn bounced once.

Twice.

Then—

ZAP.

Every screen went white.

For a moment, nobody moved.

Then Jessica’s laptop chirped.

“Systems stable.”

The main monitor flickered back on. The Red Bear Bureau’s bunker was in chaos. The three bear spies were tangled in their own wires while their retreat vehicle backed into a snowbank.

The lead bear shook his fist.

“This is not over!”

Game-Squirrel leaned toward the camera.

“It is over. You used the same password on every server.”

Bruce crossed his arms.

“Rookie mistake.”

The monitor changed to a victory message:

RED BEAR BUREAU RETREATING…

Burrow HQ erupted in cheers.

Mark walked to Game-Squirrel and extended a paw.

“Deal closed.”

Game-Squirrel shook it.

“New agency. New mission.”

Elon raised both paws.

“Can the new agency have rockets?”

Panda Wise smiled.

“And fewer mean spies.”

Above them, the new sign lit up:

MAGNIFICENT 8 SPY ALLIANCE
Founded by Game-Squirrel & Friends

Game-Squirrel looked around the room at Mark ZuckerHamster, Elon Mouse, Panda Wise, Jessica, Bruce, Ronny, Oscar, Jane, and Part-Rabbit Durov.

He nodded.

“First order of business,” he said. “We upgrade the snack budget.”

Mark gasped.

“Elon, write that down. This squirrel understands leadership.”

Panda Wise looked directly at the reader.

“To be continued.”
