Part 1: What Else to Conquer
Seven days have flashed by since Mark ZuckerHamster, Meta’s lunch-box-sized CEO, recruited Panda Wise and promoted the crew from the Magnificent Seven to the Magnificent Eight. Headquarters happily paid the bamboo bill.
Meanwhile, Elon Mouse lies in his hammock-pod, tail twitching and whiskers flicking. Earth — mastered. Mars — simulated to the last dust mote. So what is left to conquer? “You’re part mouse,” he reminds himself. “To live like a mouse, I must think like a mouse.” With that thought he drifts into a restless sleep.
Part 2: Tunnel Vision
At sunrise, one energy drink down, shower steam still curling in the air, Elon grabs the projector and summons the team. A hologram bursts above the conference stump: spiral tunnels, maglev burrow pods, neon rest rooms. The title glows, Project Molestar.
The still-groggy Magnificent Eight stare while Elon strides back and forth. Mission: dominate subterranean living. How? By applying mouse-level intelligence. Consultant plan: partner with El Chappo, the legendary mole-man.
Jessica hesitates and reminds everyone that Mark is on vacation, but Elon rolls right past the objection. Panda Wise blinks twice, raises a paw, and says that El Chappo will almost certainly accept if Starlink access is included.
Part 3: Panda Wise Approves
Ronny and Oscar begin collecting underground survival data: breathable-air limits, temperature swings, moisture control. Jessica tests every mapping tool she can download before breakfast. Bruce drafts a contact protocol for El Chappo, complete with an emergency cheese clause.
Part 4: Midnight with El Chappo
Elon finds El Chappo on Facebook Marketplace, selling “lightly used glow fungus.” The chat is short.
Elon writes, “Need underground-living help. Legit request.”
El Chappo replies, “Payment?”
Elon answers with a single word, “Starlink?”
After a long pause the mole-man types back, “My AI says never trust you, but what must a man do in times of uncertainty?” The grin emoji that follows is both encouraging and unnerving.
Part 5: Preparation
Inside the pilot tunnel, Panda Wise tests the acoustics, sniffs the fresh dirt, and declares, “Acceptable sound, but twelve-lux LEDs are required for bamboo photosynthesis. Otherwise, burrow bliss.”
Over the loudspeaker El Chappo shouts, “Let’s monetize this baby!” Carl keeps graphing projected return on investment while Bryan sketches branding for Glow-Boo, a synthetic panda-rave bamboo shoot designed for adventurous foodies.
Part 6: El Chappo Checks Out
Mark returns from vacation, sun-tanned and energized. “All that intel from El Chappo is gold, Elon — pure gold,” he says, congratulating the mouse on initiative and early returns. The headquarters hums with new purpose, and the crew gets ready to dig.
